The conference will be held in the Langstone Conference Centre at the University of Portsmouth. Please note that this is different from the venue used in recent years.

Conference reception will be in the foyer just inside the main entrance, opening at 0900.

Directions (by car)

  1. Entering Portsmouth on the A2030 (Eastern Road, becomes Velder Avenue), continue to the traffic lights at the junction with Milton Road (A288).
  2. Turn left into Milton Road, then take the eighth turning on the left into Locksway Road (initially follow signs for St James' Hospital).
  3. Proceed to the far end of Locksway Road (past the hospital entrance) and turn left into Furze Lane and the University campus.

For SatNav purposes, the campus postcode is PO4 8LW. Note however that some SatNavs may take you on a route that is only legal for buses. If the route takes you via Moorings Way, please use an alternative route via Locksway Road.

Directions (by rail)

The nearest railway station is Fratton. All trains to Portsmouth stop there, but you must be in the front 8 coaches to get off, because of short platforms.

From Fratton station take a taxi to Langstone Campus, Locksway Road (about 10 minutes).
